“Hiking Trails” Through the Festival
Anyone looking to explore the festival’s schedule of programming on their own can take inspiration from our “hiking trails” to set out on their own and move through the programming based on thematic and geographic aspects. There are suggestions for how to put a day together as well as for “hikes” lasting multiple days that have been put together according to time, location and content as well as to highlight the special features found by the wayside.
Tip: If you purchase tickets for multiple performances, you will receive a discount up to 20% once the tickets have been added to the shopping cart. More informations here TICKETS & SERVICE.
NEIGHBOORHOOD WALK – Sundays in Mitte
After a comfy festival brunch at the festival center in Alten Münze, there is nothing better than taking a stroll through the wealth of programming in the heart of Berlin on the last day of the festival. We recommend taking a bicycle along as your faithful steed! With the musical theater performance Shilpa, Flinn Works will carry us away to far-off India and present us with the first singer live app in a theater. With or without the app, things will get sexy! Afterward, we will saddle up and pedal up Prenzlauer Berg to take to sea and find rich bounty with PIRATEN! PIRATEN!, or PIRATES! PIRATES!, a sea spectacle adapted from Robert Louis Stevenson. Afterward, it is definitely time for a little snack, either directly at Kollwitzplatz or the picturesque courtyard of Halle Tanzbühne – the last station on this neighborhood stroll. The ensemble ciel. toula limnaiso presents conscious, critical, courageous dance. die einen, die anderen, or The One, The Other is a coproduction with the Brazilian company cia. gira dance, which brings people with and without so-called disabilities together through contemporary dance. Together, the ensemble sets out on the search for utopian bodies. After the performance, you can simply roll down the hill on your bicycle all the way to the festival center, where we will bid the festival a fond farewell with a proper party.
