“Hiking Trails” Through the Festival
Anyone looking to explore the festival’s schedule of programming on their own can take inspiration from our “hiking trails” to set out on their own and move through the programming based on thematic and geographic aspects. There are suggestions for how to put a day together as well as for “hikes” lasting multiple days that have been put together according to time, location and content as well as to highlight the special features found by the wayside.
Tip: If you purchase tickets for multiple performances, you will receive a discount up to 20% once the tickets have been added to the shopping cart. More informations here TICKETS & SERVICE.
HIKING TRAIL: A Free Friday
Faced with the prospects of a free weekend, the visitors on Friday have the opportunity to approach a big topic in various ways completely stress-free: the topic of “freedom” connects the events of today's “hiking trail”.
The AUSDRUCK-MOBIL, or EXPRESSION MOBILE, at Dock 11 explores physical and intellectual freedom of movement in the stories of German expressive dancers. The Büro für Wiedervereinigungen, or Office for Reunifications, illuminates the end of freedom in the form of walls and borders at Theaterdiscounter. You are free to accept an unbureaucratic offer for a conversation. Der Theaterautomat, or Theater Vending Machine at Sophiensæle is completely free of both a stage and performers. Admission to all of these events is free of charge.
