Unfinished Fridays Performance Evening (Gali Kinkulkin, Marcela Giesche und Monica Gentile, BRUNO SENUNE & FLAVIO RODRIGUES, ANNUKKA HIRVONEN & MARTINA GARBELLI, Alexandria Panetta, Vasanthi Argouin, Clare Schweitzer)

Gali Kinkulkin is an Israeli currently based in Berlin dancer and choreographer. She graduated from the “Vertigo’s dance training school” in Jerusalem. After her studies she worked with the Israeli choreographers Dafi Eltabeb, Asher Lev, Stefan Ferry and others. Since 2014 her works have been presented around Europe and Israel.
Marcela Giesche is a freelance artist currently based in Berlin, Germany. She holds a BFA/Diplom in dance and choreography from the Rotterdamse Dansacademie and The Ohio State University and has received numerous scholarships including participation in the danceweb 2010 at Impulstanz.
Monica Gentile graduated at the University of Bologna “DAMS THEATER” in Philosophy and Literature. She is a dancer, choreographer, certified Yoga teacher, a martial arts practitioner (Kungfu and Aikido) and is interested in Movement Research/Somatic Practices. She curates and manages dance and performance events at Plateau Gallery, Green House, Berlin.

Bruno Senune was born in Aveiro in 1992. Currently he lives in Porto. He begins his studies in dance at Balleteatro Escola Profissional which he finishes in 2011 and where he stands out the work with Elisabete Magalhães, Paula Moreno and Filipa Francisco. As a performer and co-creator he had worked with Victor Hugo Pontes in “Fuga Sem Fim”, Né Barros in “Estrangeiros” and “Landing”, Tânia Carvalho in “Icosahedron” and “Weaving Chaos”, Joana Castro in “Under Destruction” and “Perto... tanto quando possível”, Flávio Rodrigues in “PORCELANA” and “NIL-CITY”, Mariana Tengner Barros “End of Transmission” and Joana von Mayer Trindade in“Saltus” and “Nameless Natures”. Since 2014 that he's been developing his own creative work with "thismusicinmyhead" - Um projecto inconveniente, inconsequente e incoerente" in collaboration with Cláudia Moreira, "LONELY" (2015) with Flávio Rodrigues (Project made in the extent of the exposition Sub40) and in Solo with KIDAS KING (2015). In 2015 he helps developing a Site Specific for a Masters of ESMAE. In parallel he works as a photographic model and in human picture lessons.

Flávio Rodrigues (1984) was born in Vila Nova de Gaia and currently lives and works in Porto (Portugal). Attends the degree in Costumes Production and Design at ESMAE (Music and Drama Superior School). Finishes in 2006 the Dance course at Balleteatro Professional School. In 2007 attends the alternative contemporary dance program at Dance Works, Rotterdam. In 2008 was awarded the scholarship from NEC (Choreographic Experimentation Nucleus) and in 2009 attends the course in Public Art and Site Specific works creation. In 2012 represents Portugal in the meeting Les Reperages / Danse à Lille and, as a scholar from Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, attended the choreographic residency Correios em Movimento / Dança em Trânsito in Rio de Janeiro. Develops, since 2006, his own performative and visual works: "Charlotte O`day", "Inverno de 2011", "14 de Novembro de 2010", "Starvelingtherite of spring" and RARA (2013), to name but a few, shown in festivals and venues in Portugal, Austria, Spain, Moldavia and Belgium. Presented, in 2009, ‘Primavera’ (Spring), site specific project in Serralves em Festa (Portugal) . As a performer, co-creator and costume designer, participated in projects from creators such as Né Barros, Isabel Barros, Joclécio Azevedo, Juliana Snapper, Tânia Carvalho, Joana Castro, Carla Valquaresma, Luís Carolino, Elisa Worm, Teresa Prima and Radar 360º. Dancer in the company Ballet Contemporâneo do Norte since 2009.

The collaboration between Martina Garbelli (IT) and Annukka Hirvonen (FIN) started in April 2014 in Berlin. After finishing their professional dance education and working in different projects in Germany and abroad, they decided to take a step into the creation process to find a common language and message.
MARTINA GARBELLI (1986, Italy) finished her contemporary dance education in SEAD (Austria) in 2012. Since 2011 she works with the Italian visual theater company Zaches Teatro and she danced in small and bigger projects in Germany and abroad ( Grupo Oito, DORKY PARK – Constanza Macras as guest, Cie. Willy Dorner etc.). Currently she lives and work as freelance dancer and dance and pilates teacher in Berlin.
ANNUKKA HIRVONEN (1985, Finland) finished her contemporary dance education in Fontys Dance Academy (Holland). She danced in pieces of Peter Jasko, Sara Wiktorowicz, Pia Meuthen and Truus Bronkhoorst and worked as apprentice in Cie. Toula Limnaios in Berlin. She’s member of the Art Community Koe in Finland. Currently she is based in Berlin where she works as freelance dancer and dance and yoga teacher.

Alexandria is currently a dance artist practicing in Sydney. She completed a Bachelor of Dance/ Arts and Bachelor of Education, dual degree (2011-2014) and also a BA Dance Studies (Honours) (2015) at the University of New South Wales. She is pursuing choreography and an ambition to fuse together improvisation and film. She currently teaches as a dance tutor for the Arts Unit State Company, an elite state representative dance program for New South Wales Dancers. This program is supported by the Department of Education.

Vasanthi was first introduced to dance at the age of seven when she took up the classical South Indian dance, Bharatanatyam. In 2007 she began performing in India with Sri Krishna Dance where she continued to train and perform for the next four years, immersing herself in Indian culture and tradition. Alongside she trained in African dance, ballet, and became a choreographic assistant to P.A.R.T.S graduate, Sujata Goel.
She was also the artistic director of student-led Actual Size Dance Company whilst at university and worked with choreographer, Florence Peake. 2014 she graduated from the University of Surrey with a First Honours a Degree in Dance and Culture (BA Hons) and was awarded the Most Creative Student Prize in the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences. Today she is a freelance dancer with emerging dance companies such as RIAN and Lucidez Dance Company and the Belarus Free Theatre.

A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Clare Schweitzer received her early training in ballet, performing in more Nutcrackers than she has fingers to count with. She continued her dance training at Mount Holyoke College, where she graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in Dance and Mathematics cum laude with high honors. While there she had the opportunity to perform repertory by Doris Humphrey, Kinsun Chan, Jim Coleman and Terese Freedman. Clare moved back to the Bay Area after completion of her degree, performing with groups such as Kinetech, the Samantha Giron Dance Project and Sarah Berges Dance. She also had the opportunity to work behind the scenes of dance as an administrative assistant for Bandaloop and as a programming assistant for the San Francisco Dance Film Festival. While working for the Festival, Clare developed an appreciation for screendance, receiving early training from Cari Ann Shim Sham* and Ben Estabrook and furthering her studies at the London Contemporary Dance School where she engaged in a research project into the practices of Screendance festivals. She hopes to continue to engage with the form and continue research into the melding of Dance with digital technologies. In addition to this, she tutors mathematics among other subjects and still entertains the prospect of being a sabermetrician (baseball statistician).
