Welcome to the Berlin Performing Arts Festival
For the first time, visiting industry professionals will be able to obtain a condensed overview of the remarkable independent theater work begin made in Berlin during the Berlin Performing Arts Festival – with more than 120 performance at over 50 locations all throughout the city from May 23 – 29, 2016.
Supplemental Professional Events
Supplemental professional events create space for professional exchanges as well as offer the opportunity to get to know colleagues and to generate synergies.
During the festival party (May 26, 2016, beginning at 7:00 pm), previews of the upcoming schedule of programming will be presented. Chat with the participating artists and directors of the performance venues over a glass of sparkling wine and a bite to eat and celebrate and dance together afterward.
The symposium “Collaborations & Co-Productions” (May 27, 2016, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm) provides artists and visiting industry professionals a forum to discuss current questions regarding the topic of collaboration and co-productions within the independent performing arts.
During Berlin Diagonale (May 28, 2016, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm), artistic directors, curators, dramaturgs and other professionals can achieve a focused overview of independent Berlin productions, become acquainted with performance venues and working methods and enter into direct exchanges with Berlin-based artists.

Accreditation and Tickets
Requests for accreditation for the events for visiting industry professionals at the Berlin Performing Arts Festival can now be made.
For accreditation, we ask you to complete the accreditation form and submit it as an email attachment to: thomas.eder(at)performingarts-festival.de or via fax: +49 30 33 84 54 53.
Please note: Accreditation allows you to participate in the events for visiting industry professional, but does not automatically allow you to attend the performances. We respectfully ask you to send all inquiries regarding discounted tickets for colleagues directly to the respective performance venue/presenter.
