The T-House-Tour #6 (NOVOFLOT)

The T-HOUSE-TOUR by NOVOFLOT continues! After five stops at Radialsystem, Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, in and in front of Akademie der Künste and others, NOVOFLOT intensify the presentation formats of its improvisation-based project: For the Performing Arts Festial the hosts and guests of T-HOUSE-TOUR make a sudden appearance, construct their opera house architecture, perform for 60 minutes and get back on the road. This will happen close to the festival venues. Certain are only the times when the T-HOUSE-TOUR will be on the road (Friday til Sunday 5pm til 10pm) and its list of participants Conny Bauer, Claudio Puntin, Varia Sjöström, Ichi Go, Yuka Yanagihara, Chris Dahlgren, Michael Wertmüller a.o. www.t-house-tour.de.

NOVOFLOT is a Berlin-based independent opera company. Since its foundation in 2002 they have developed various project formats. After Krenek’s "Bell Tower" and Traetta’s "Antigone" they staged the ten-part opera saga "Kommander Kobayashi", the trilogy "HOW WE FEEL", "The Christmas Oratorio", "Parisian Life", "The Castle", "Victory over the Sun #1-#5", "T-House-Tour #1-#5" and the current project "National Opera #1-#3". Collaboration partners have been Sophiensaele, Radialsystem V, Hamburg State Opera, UltraSchall Festival, Warsaw Autumn, Teatr Wielki Warsaw, Théâtre National du Luxembourg, Trafó Budapest, Transmediale, Haus der Berliner Festspiele, Hamburger Bahnhof, Academy of the Arts and Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. In 2014 NOVOFLOT were awarded the George Tabori Prize.

Das RADIALSYSTEM V hat sich, seit seiner Gründung 2006 durch Jochen Sandig und Folkert Uhde, als offener Raum für den Dialog der Künste weit über die Grenzen Berlins hinaus etabliert. Der historische Name des transformierten Pumpwerks am Spreeufer ist Programm: Ein radiales System strahlt von seinem Zentrum in alle Richtungen aus. Das RADIALSYSTEM V bringt Künstler, Kreative und Kulturbegeisterte in Kontakt miteinander und entwickelt aus der Begegnung von Tradition und Innovation, Alter Musik und Zeitgenössischem Tanz, Bildender Kunst und Neuen Medien neue Formate und Genres. Als Produktionsstätte ist das RADIALSYSTEM V die künstlerische Heimat von vier bedeutenden freien Ensembles: Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Sasha Waltz & Guests, Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop und Vocalconsort Berlin. Risiko- und experimentierfreudig, ohne elitäre Attitüde wird hier das Musiktheater der Zukunft in der Praxis erprobt.
