Rosemarie – Erinnerungen an eine Flucht (FrauVonDaProduktionen & Schneider TM)
‚Rosemarie‘ tells the story of a young woman that is moving between two worlds: the two zones of East and West Germany. Constantly changing sides, she is following forbidden paths and exposes herself to the deathtrapping incalculability of the border politics, never knowing if her way will succeed.
Normally, fleeing means to run away from something. But what if it needs both sides: fleeing for the purpose of seeing a beloved person and the fleeing back to meet a second beloved one?
Original recordings of interviews are intertwined with texts, sounds, hit songs and music, connected by a soundscape of Schneider TM.
With compositions of Pascal Dusapin, Rainer Killius, Sebastian Elikowski-Winkler, Arne Sanders and others.
