Äonenwende #11 – Higgs (Kulturschlund)

Kulturschlund's "Äonenwende" is not only another fun improvisation thing – it's serious! With deepest sobriety, the world's most existential topics are being negotiated. Since 10 years, the group of artists has their take on transcendental slogans, which they interpret into sound and frenzy. The musicians and actors call these sessions ""psycho-magical"" and ""self-cleaning"". It is a ritualistic oozing of one's own world of experience.
This time, the neurotic number 11 – 1 and 1 together – shifts the micro into the macro. The Higgs particle is centre of all shape and poetry and song. In the end, everyone – from the accelerated particle at the inside of the Large Hedron Collider, to the oscillating steel beam and synthesizer and sound body and sweating electric guitar solo – finally and cathartically needs a beer to realize what just happened.
