Wurm und Kalb (Marcel Luxinger)
A tragicomic analysis of the fascination of intrigue & violence. The stage project about irresponsibility (theatrical), manipulation (public), self-reflection (narcissistic), language (political) and amours fous (triangular) develops behind the scenes of Friedrich Schiller's Kabale und Liebe. This production aims to explore the eroticism and attraction of power, revolution and radicalism.

In cooperation with the TD
The Company for Preemptive and Non-Evanescent Altercation (PNAC) was founded at the end of 2002 in the light of the general political situation and the impression of the public’s voluntary renunciation of balanced information. The ability to think responsibly, freely and independently is one of the most important qualities of human beings, and serves to make a democracy alive and responsible. At best, the theater can only have an additional voice in this matter. We try to shake up cherished traditions, unquestioned values, allegedly proven facts and alternativeless solutions in our society and politics.
Theaterdiscounter, or TD for short, is a theater located at Alexanderplatz with a year-round schedule of programming. The schedule of programming is dedicated to contemporary spoken word theater. Some 30 to 40 different productions, formats and festivals can be seen each season. To make this possible, TD cooperates with artists, theater collectives and partner theaters throughout Germany and internationally. At TD, experienced theater makers create theme-centric pieces of theater that expand aesthetic formal languages. As a theater and production location, we also provide a platform for the next generation of artists. A flexible space concept allows research into new presentation forms for live art and theater in all of its facets.
