Nebelwelt (Junges Ensemble Circus Schatzinsel)
Nebelwelt tells the story of forest creatures, who, upon meeting each other, repeatedly get into arguments and conflicts. Escalations are the consequence. These images are reminiscent of our current global political situation, of the struggles of the powerful and the powerless in our world and of very personal and private situations of human encounters.

Most of the actors in this ensemble have been training for many years in the Circus Schatzinsel children's circus and have learned and tried various disciplines. They bring a lot of physical know-how and acrobatics into the joint ensemble work. The ensemble consists of only these young people and refugees from Syria and Afghanistan. The refugees took part in a project of Circus Schatzinsel in the summer of 2016 and wanted to continue this work.
Circus Schatzinsel is a venue for new circus in, with and for Berlin. In the midst of the hustle and bustle of Kreuzberg, there is a circus tent where professional artists from Berlin and the international circus community can rehearse in the mornings and, in the afternoon, children and young people learn in circus educational projects and create their own pieces. Circus Schatzinsel is an international place of exchange, inspiration and creative cooperation.
