Erste Tode (Die Spalter)
The lives of A, B and C – New Age Nihilist – are stuck. They wanted to change the world but couldn’t find a reason to do so. The belief in nothing has made them mute. Now they find themselves back at their graves. Die Spalter are a young Berlin-based ensemble who question old dependencies in their newest work. Nothing can be taken for granted – and definitely not what one can call a good life.

Lukas Hanus (*1991), Güner Künier (*1990) and Lisa-Sophia Schlüter (*1988) founded Die Spalter in 2016 in Berlin. Martin Jurk (*1984) dedicates himself to the intimacy of thought in his work. Meaningfulness and sensuality form the pillars of the artistic work which is driven by a basic thought: how can I make that what I am conceivable and able to be experienced through performance?
A piece of original Berlin history – this is exactly what Kulturfabrik Moabit is. We offer concerts, theater, film screening, parties, exhibitions, tours, foosball and bar golf tournaments, political discussions – as well as a cozy neighborhood feeling and a more-than-legendary neighborhood with a growing sense of self-help.
