Dramatic improvised theater in the style of the Lars von Triers film "Dogville"

An isolated place with a shut-in community is thrown out of balance. Darkness exposes itself. A drama about guilt and atonement, power and abuse, individuals and the collective emerges. Together with their audience, improvisers from Improbanden and Improvisionäre create a scenery in a black box in the style of Lars von Trier’s Dogville. This story will inspire discussions, but won't provide answers.

Improbanden - The repertoire of the experimental nine-member improviser ensemble includes a lot from short forms to self-developed long forms. In the three years of their existence, the improvisers have primarily performed on stages in the Neukölln / Kreuzberg area. Die Improvsionäre are the funniest, most original, most unique and humble improvisational theater group in the world. Be there when a complete piece emerges that has never been rehearsed and will never be seen again, based on the ideas of the audience.

The Brotfabrik Bühne (Bread Factory Theater) in the Weißensee district of Berlin is an independent venue for touring shows and co-productions from Berlin's independent performing arts community as well as national and international groups. The schedule of programming, comprising around 300 performances a year, presents a diverse range of forms and genres from plays, performance, dance and musical theater to improvisation, puppet and object theater. Young artists and groups regularly perform in the 40-80 seat auditorium alongside established theater makers. Another focus of the schedule of programming is the productions for children.
