coming out of a secret room (bücking&kröger)
bücking&kröger deal in coming out of a secret room with phenomena of pathos and exaggeration. The starting point is the anatomy of the bodies of Raisa Kröger and Florian Bücking, and their constantly changing conditions - exaggerated, swollen, separate from each other and with each other. This leads to a permanent transformation of body images.

bücking&kröger is the union of the two dancer/choreographers Florian Bücking and Raisa Kröger. In 2014, after ten years of bustling activity both in and outside the Berlin dance community, they founded bücking&kröger in order to transfer their extensive combined experience into collectively choreographed pieces. As a creatively working union, they engage with dance in the broadest sense, as well as with architecture, performance and social plasticity. Thus far, they have developed three short pieces, two full-length productions and a concert evening. Their work is characterised by a clear focus on the body and the physical states that accompany movement. They often develop their work in collaboration with artists from other fields such as the fine arts or music.
DOCK 11 EDEN***** is part of the diverse and international dance community and combines the areas of production, pedagogy and presentation both spatially and structurally.
This combination leads to diverse changes of perspectives, overlaps, synergies, mutual interests and understandings for the artists, students, teachers, audience and visitors. The focus on dance, supplemented by theater, performance, literature, music, visual art, film and club art, is interdisciplinary.
