With chaos and fun, the pirates conquer the skies on the harness, cloth and bike. They take the spectators on a journey full of adventures without rules and laws while throwing apples from the hand to the mouth or even into the hike audience. The myth of pirates as a symbol of freedom and independence has existed for centuries, even if the historical reality was often very different.

» Collective A

We are a collective of three people. In our artistic work, we combine aerial arts, theater and electronic live sounds. We see theater as a form of dealing with social structures and power relations, critically reflecting and presenting content. This is the basis for our performative projects; the overall concept is created by selecting the appropriate artistic means according to the content of the statement. We address the audience with absurdity and abstraction, using exemplary images to stimulate their own reality of life. With this emphasis on substantive debate and the decision not to work programmatically, we see ourselves in the context of contemporary circus.

We are a team of 4 people who rented the artist room hall, renovated it and whom also bear the financial risk. We want to create a space with the Artistraum that functions as a space for training and supporting the performing arts such as acrobatics, dance, theater and more. We intend to use the space to support young artists through workshops and seminars as well as the networking of artists and groups across borders.
