Berlin Diagonale - Show Camp 2019

Each year, the Berlin Performing Arts Festival presents the artistic positions of the independent performing arts community in a shared festival. With Berlin Diagonale – Show Camp, the Performing Arts Festival supports exchanges within the community as well as (inter)national networking, focusing on Berlin-based artists and companies who present their tourable work over the course of a shared event.

Submission deadline is January 15, 2019.

Open Call

In 2019, the tried-and-true open trade fair format will be combined for the first time with a selection of short live presentation that provides performative insight into the artistic work of the artists participating. Afterward, we warmly invite the guests and participants to continue their conversations in a comfortable atmosphere with chilled sparkling wine and music.

The goal of Berlin Diagonale – Show Camp to increase national and international awareness of work produced in Berlin, create opportunities for touring work as well as to further develop the networking of the members of Berlin’s independent performing arts community.

Participation

We are looking for artists, artist groups and collectives who are based in Berlin, work professionally, are interested in networking and have at least one tourable production.
