Lois Bartel is a freelancing perfomance artist and theatremaker. In her artistic practice and research she is currently concerned with relations of voice, language and body. Hereby, she is specifically interested in an understanding of relations as moving and continiously changing. Thereby, the process of interpreting and categorising itself becomes the subject of researching. Lois Bartel recently finished her Master in Performance Studies at the University of Hamburg. Before that she lived and studied for several years in switzerland, where she got her diploma as an actress in the year 2008. Since then she worked as actress, performer and dramaturge in numberous productions in switzerland and germany.
