In their dance performance “Is this a human being – who cares?“ Martina Rösler and Anja Kolmanics put in question a concept of humanity pushed close to a precipice of chaos. The two figures show themselves vulnerable. They watch, measure, help and oust each other and carry off each other into a fictional scenario of loneliness and chaos, uncertainty and sensitivity. Verena Kutschera investigates the concept of body intelligence in media and the collective consciousness with her dance performance “The Tremendous Intelligence of the Body“. Lisa Müller-Trede shows her 7 channel - performance “es ging durch einmal war nicht genug durch Enden beide potent ein Leck in der Mitte tropft“.

Anja Kolmanics studied dance at the Conservatory of Vienna and at the Institut del Teatro Barcelona. She lives in Berlin and has worked there as a dancer for seven years now. Her most urgent matter of concern for some considerable time has been to find opportunities to publish works of inquiry, try outs and miniature productions and so to speak enable a place of casual exchange among young artists and a curious audience off the established locations of dancing and performances. Her first „late night perform“ evening she organizes together with the choreographer and dancer Martina Rösler, artist Lisa Müller-Trede and the dancer Verena Kutschera.

The café Fincan has been in existence since 2009. The front room contains a café and in the back room concert evenings, performances and theater plays are held. During daytime a manifold program is offered, such as improtheater, exhibitions and Argentinian Tango. Holder for it is the non-profit making organization „Mainzelmenschen e. V.“.
